Cards for Hospitalized Kids

A project focused on spreading love and hope through difficult times. A combined event by Brushstrokes for Biodiversity and Project Patho.

Cards for Hospitalized Kids is a project focused on spreading love and hope through difficult times. Specially drawn animal artwork is included in small gifts for local hospital patients, with uplifting messages written on the back by community volunteers.

Volunteers are recruited at the Poway Farmer's Market and at library events. This is a combined event by Brushstrokes for Biodiversity (BfB) and Project Patho.

  • Cardiovascular System Event

    8/7/26 · 4s Ranch County Library

    A free session for kids ages 6–12 on how the cardiovascular system works, the anatomy of the heart and blood vessels, and a hands-on activity at the end.
